Xavi Martí-González presents the conclusions of the diagnosis of the Catalan calls for proposals in development cooperation

The GLOBALCODES member and Professor Xavi Martí-González presented the conclusions of the diagnosis of the Catalan calls for proposals in development cooperation: perspectives and administrative possibilities for convergence and simplification at the Online plenary session of the NGO Autonomous Federation Network held on Saturday, 18th of September.

The purpose of this study has been to carry out a diagnosis of the elements that condition and limit the establishment of common bases in the calls for proposals in the development cooperation field (including those for education for development and humanitarian action) of the main Catalan public funders.

It pursues a double objective: on the one hand, to present a comparative exercise between the different institutions studied; and on the other, to systematize a set of concrete proposals to advance in the simplification and convergence of procedures.

This study has been commissioned by Lafede.cat – organizations for the Global Justice and has had the active implication of the heads and technical staff of the cooperation departments of the institutions studied (Catalan Government, City Council of Barcelona, Barcelona Provincial Council, Barcelona Metropolitan Area and Catalan Fund for Development Cooperation).
