Interactive application about Romanesque manuscripts from Stična
The european project RISECI has enabled the Slovene Museum of Christianity to gain an important complement to the permanent exhibition. Interactive application about Romanesque manuscripts from Stična is essential for the museum visitors. The museum is located in the famous Cistercian monastery Stična, where at the end of the 12th century the most beautiful manuscripts in contemporary Europe were made. With the help of application, these manuscripts, after more than eight hundred years, returned back home – even if only in digital form. Bilingual application allows accurate study of the most important manuscripts. The visitor learns procedures by which the scribes and literary artists create manuscripts with beautiful initials.
